Comments (2)Very close to where I live there is a cemetery along a major street. I probably drive past it several times a day running various errands. Today however I noticed something new. In front of the cemetery there was a sign. On it was posted “Free Dirt cal (###)###-####”. Free dirt, from a cemetery? Is it just me or does that sound more than a little weird?… I wonder if they’ve had any takers.

Free dirt from a cemetery?
I’d be really creeped out using that.. or knowing of any places that actually took up the offer and used this free dirt..

It makes TOTAL sense but that doesn’t take the “creepy” out of the offer.
I agree, it would be odd to drop by and get the free dirt, as well, what if someone sees you loading it up and wonders why you’re loading up a truck at the cemetary?
